Our International Safety Management Service (ISM service) for yachts consists of two stages. First stage the development of the systems including on board set up and second stage ongoing supervisory and support functions once the systems are in place.

We provide the requirements of the ISPS to all commercially operated yachts above 500GRT with two steps. We have extensive knowledge in conducting security assessments onboard yachts and producing the necessary approved shipboard security plans.

In August 2014 the MLC 2006 convention came into force for all commercial (charter) yachts. It deals with working conditions and matters such as contracts, limited working hours, health insurance and repatriation are detailed within the document and will only come into effect once your crew are working onboard. We provide the requirements of the MLC 2006 to all commercially operated yachts and obtain the certificate.

We apply advanced methods and technologies with a highly skilled professional team of dedicated ocean going master, chief engineer, naval architects and technicians.

Safe To Seas, we have through the years earned trust amongst our clients to make mission critical decisions on their behalf and carefully and diligently handle their affairs.

Pre-purchase and condition surveys include machinery and ship systems, propulsion, inspections of structural integrity, safety and firefighting equipment and vessel documentation. More detailed inspections of specific items can also be carried out according to requirements.

A survey report is detailed and provides an impression of the condition of a vessel, recommendations for necessary repairs, and an opinion as to an approximate current market value if necessary.
